Developed/Technical Ideas

'Playthreads' plugin for FB2K. A new playthread is created any time the user chooses to play a song anywhere outside of a playthread; user can change between playthreads, pick up right where they left off (e.g. in the middle of a randomized all-songs playthread). Playthreads are essentially auto-created playlists consisting of the PC-decided song order, which was based off a single user action (playing one song with certain settings in certain playlists, such as shuffle and repeat in an album playlist).

A program which runs in the background, and when it detects a certain (technically text) file in the root of a newly-detected drive, it loads a bunch of keyboard shortcuts and other user-defined environment parameters from it, and maybe pops up a GUI to indicate this and to show the user the information associated with said drive. (e.g. Plug in a drive, navigating that drive's folders, ctrl+~+(key) creates a new folder or file with a certain name, opens a program on the drive, etc. Also, capable of insta-swapping desktop contents upon drive connect and drive removal, maybe swapping out other customizeable Windows parameters.

Stereo Wasp - A very portable battery-powered device sharing a vague resemblance to a wasp. Plugs into the headphone jack of any portable device, clings onto the device, and is highly adjustable to suit most devices. Supplies a stereo pair of speakers (in the 'wings') with high-quality stereo sound, potentially with an extra speaker or two as small subwoofers. Wing spread is widely adjustable, to suit e.g. an iPod Nano, to an iPad, to a large-screened laptop. Will ot hinder the user's grip of/way of holding the device.

A song about all the years (maybe 3-4?) it takes to heal from the scars and pain of high school days and adolescence.

A slider or horizontal-flip Android phone which has interchangeable "interface plates" on the inside to provide different methods of physical interface, e.g. keyboard, game controls, etc.

"Cataloguer" - An iTunes-esque program which, given an Ampache install directory, hooks into Ampache and its database (by referencing the Ampache settings files), and supplies a very intuitive and user-friendly GUI for managing Ampache's catalogue(s) and technical settings, instantly updating Ampache's own databases when changes are made, and also playing and sorting music and playlists from the Ampache catalogues. Supplies conveniences such as auto-arranging file-folder structures (like iTunes would), album art, allowing drag-and-drop music addition which triggers an interface to manage all added files' metadata upon add, etc. It would have both a local (server-side) and a remote (web or LAN) mode; local to be used by server admin for main management functionality, remote to be used by admin or potentially users. Admin remote mode using ftp access to the Ampache install directory + Ampache's native http API, user mode only using the http API for audio playback and playlist management. Eventually a mobile app version, too?

Biker Town - A fictional place in a story or game. It is an entire city where all the roads are small; only large enough to accommodate bikes (motorized and non). The roads leading to it are car roads which, upon reaching the city outskirts, come to large parking lots spanning the entire outside edge of the city. In each of these is a place to rent a bike to use within the city.
